Curious about the how’s and why’s of our world and a fan of chaos theory, I’m fascinated by the unified whole that can emerge from the combination of seemingly random parts. As a work moves toward completion, it’s often obvious what shape or color is missing and where it belongs. It’s as though the art is struggling to make itself whole with me only as the facilitator.
